I did these sketches a little while back. I’m fascinated by the history of the samurai and the aesthetic beauty of their armor, so I wanted to capture that some way. I’m not sure exactly what the flowers represent, maybe it’s the concept of nature overtaking that which used to rule the land. At some point I’d love to do some of these as final illustrations.

Well, I have to say looking through lots of photos this afternoon, your images here really stood out to me. Interesting art work especially the combination of the flowers with the Samurai. Great work !
