So I got this new sketchbook the other day. It’s lightweight paper and a lot of it, my goal with this one has been to just fill it as quickly as I can. I have a tendency to get too consumed with details and trying to make things perfect even with a sketch, which prevents me from getting enough practice in. So with this sketchbook I’ve been skipping the pencil and starting out with ink right off the bat.
I sketch with the gray ink side of the Kuretake double-sided brush pen first, then I fill in more details with the black ink.
Oh yeah, Trainspotting is a sweet movie.

Put simply, Trainspotting is one of those films that gets the mixture just right. The dialogue, the music, the performances, the direction, the production values, the humor, the shock-value. Good review, check out mine when you can!
